Arnold Schwarzenegger always promised he'd be back and now we're getting our first look at him from the set of Terminator Genesis. The fifth installment of the popular franchise that began back in 1984 is currently filming in New Orleans and a new set pic has revealed Schwarzenegger shooting a scene with co-stars Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney and Jason Clarke. The most notable thing about the pic is that Schwarzenegger is playing a much older version of the character than we've seen before. His signature black leather jacket has been replaced by one more reminiscent of the one he wore early on in the first film and he's now sporting grey hair. Schwarzenegger previously explained his character aging to MTV saying quote, "The way that the character is written, it's a machine underneath. It's this metal skeleton, but above that is human flesh and the Terminator's flesh ages, just like any other human being's flesh. Maybe not as fast, but it definitely ages." Though we don't know much about the plot of Genesis, the film will reportedly feature Arnold travelling back to the time of the first two films to help a young "Sarah Connor", this time played by Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke. In the pic, we see Clarke wearing scrubs along with co-star Jai Courtney, who plays "Kyle Reese" Sarah's protector and the father of her future resistance leader son. Jason Clarke plays an older "John Connor" in the film and is seen in the pic in the past with his mother, though another pic shows her pointing a gun at him, so we'll have to wait and see how everything plays out. Terminator Genesis is set to his theaters on July 1st next year and is just one of several classic films getting new installments.
